Intrapartum Diagnosis of Idiopathic Constriction Ring Dystocia
Abstract
We present here a case of idiopathic constriction ring dystocia. In the case, an intrapartum ultrasonography showed a thickening of the anterior wall of the uterus during labor. Cesarean section identified the constriction ring of the uterine myometrium strangling the fetal neck at 3 - 4 cm above the Bandls
contraction ring.
